fitness training

I’m a firm believer in the basics combined with cutting edge neurological exercises: Push - Pull - Press in combination with spiral movements are the keys to sustained athletic/movement success. That means I use free weights, Kettlebells, Bulgarian bags, ladders, boxes, bands, and ropes. My training philosophy is derived through multiple certifications in multiple disciplines along with intense exploration of and decades of experience in a diverse range of training methods, including NSCA, Chek, Wrek or NASM just to name a few. I am deeply committed to the belief that to maintain great success as a trainer, I must be able to navigate all of those techniques and apply each to every client, to the extent each is wise, at exactly the right time. Over the past forty years, I have become an expert in effectuating my philosophy and have enjoyed teaching it to others trainers as well as watching my clients--from all walks of life and varying levels of athletic ability and fitness level--improve and thrive.

My clients include numerous track and field athletes, local basketball players, regional soccer players, professional ballerinas, as well as college and international tennis players; I am particularly adept with assisting young adults transfer their skills and fitness level to the collegiate level.

My clients also include many persons over the age of 60 for whom I use various techniques to keep their bodies and minds sharp so that they can continue the sports they've casually played for years as well as an active social and family life. Other clients include many postpartum women and a diverse range of former athletes looking to maintain a high level fitness in the most time-effective and injury-proof manner as possible.

What People Are Saying

“The last week I wake up and every part of my body feels loose, free, things crack and pop and nothing is sticking. All my muscles are sore in a good way from my 6 days a week workouts and I feel stronger, taller and more relaxed than I have since I was 25.

This is all because of you.

Thank you! I am a lifelong client.”

— Alayna (Former Professional Ballerina)

“I call Don “A Miracle Worker,” for the incredible way he has helped myself and many of my clients heal and recover from numerous chronic injuries and pain. I have worked with Don since I was 16 years old (over 14 years) and he was even the inspiration for me to start my own fitness business. His extensive background and understanding of the human body is unlike anyone I have ever met. Having Don in my life gives me the peace of mind that no matter what discomfort I encounter in my physical body I can find an answer to that problem.”

— Catherine (Div I Soccer Player)

“For years I've been dealing with seemingly unresolvable stomach/digestion problems. After numerous doctor visits, I was left uncured and without answers. As a Division 1 collegiate track athlete, these issues were increasingly beginning to impact my athletic performance. After one visit with Donnie, I felt a WORLD'S difference. My stomach didn't twist after every meal, my body started recovering much more quickly after workouts, and my athletic performance began to sky rocket. I've never felt better, Don is the best!”
